Brian R. Carmichael is an attorney and founding partner of Carmichael Isaak LLP. Mr. Carmichael focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, social security disability, bankruptcy and immigration. Prior to the formation of Carmichael Isaak LLP, Mr. Carmichael attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (J.D.) and the University of Alabama (B.S.). While in law school, Mr. Carmichael had the distinction of serving as Senior Editor of the Jones Law Review. Mr. Carmichael is a native of Clanton, Alabama. Melissa L. Isaak is an attorney and founding partner of Carmichael Isaak LLP. Ms. Isaak focuses her practice in the areas of personal injury, family law, social security disability and bankruptcy. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Isaak served in the United States Army as an active duty soldier for four years. While on active duty, Ms. Isaak attended college as a full-time student and obtained her bachelor's degree and a masters degree in psychology. After an honorable discharge from the military, Ms. Isaak worked as a child and adolescent therapist in both a residential hospital and in a private practice setting. She also worked as an adjunct professor of psychology at Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama where she taught courses in general psychology, human growth and development and statistics. Ms. Isaak also obtained a second masters degree in criminal justice and became a published author while conducting research for the United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL). She then obtained her law degree from Barry University School of Law where she served as Senior Editor of the Barry Law Review. Ms. Isaak is currently an adjunct professor of criminal justice at Troy University and is licensed to practice law in all Alabama and Florida State Courts.

Matthew Farr is an attorney that practices immigration, personal injury, estate planning, and probate law from Montgomery, Alabama to Orlando, Florida. Mr. Farr grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. After high school, Mr. Farr attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. On the same day he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Mr. Farr was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force. After seven years of active duty service, Mr. Farr entered the active reserves and began work in private industry. Mr. Farr earned a Master of Computer Science Degree, with High Distinction, from Rivier College. He was one of the top ten graduates of his law school class at the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, and in his final year of law school served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Barry Law Review. Mr. Farr is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, in which he serves as the Secretary of the Central Florida Chapter. Mr. Farr applies the same intensity to serving his clients that he applied to his academic studies, and will do the same for you in his position as of Counsel at Carmichael Isaak LLP.
